Waspy Takes the Salmon
We were camping last week on Vancouver Island and Grandpa cooked salmon for supper. The next day I was playing Scrabble with my son at the picnic table when a wasp caught my attention. The wasp had found a piece of dried salmon and was trying to fly off with it. But it was too big to carry. So the wasp took quite some time to chew it in half while sitting on the top. Here are some pictures.
Success!

Covid Part 2
It occured to me that anyone reading my last post about Covid, 3 years ago, might wonder if I survived, because no further posts ever came. Of course I have still been blogging on my work site quite regularly about various handyman and theatre projects at handyandrew.ca. And I also post on FB and Instagram sometimes so I don't feel the need to blog much. But I digress.
I did indeed survive Covid, kept up with my recommended boosters, and have been healthy since. Until this spring when I somehow managed to pick it up again. It started with a raging fever after a day of hard work. But overall it wasn't too bad; the rapid test picked it up on the first try, I still managed to work a little part-time on a work project by myself, and so on.
Anyway, hopefully another post comes within the next 3 years as my fans wait with baited breath for the next Big Thing to happen. Peace out!
PS Spiky says Hi.
